Training
We welcome any qualified diver to join our search team. You will only be permitted to dive to the level of your qualification and experience. We do not train divers from scratch.
In order to be prepared for any search, we do train regularly as a team. Although many of our members have been diving for years, some of the skills we need lie outside of the normal scope of scuba diving. Our training sessions focus on

- Equipment - full face masks, sonar equipment, through water communications
- Skills - search patterns, rope communications
- Dive planning - risk assessments, logistics, dive supervision.
